Wonderbar
I just bought a wonderbar today from TDS. Anyone else have this mod. Is it easy to install. I can't wait to get mine and have it installed.

yes I have
fairly easy to install. Leave swaybar end links attached, and possibly a friend to help hold the swaybar while bolting up the wonderbar.

nah its the simplest thing to do in the world, just unbolt the sway bar brakcets (not endlinks) unbolt a few bolts from the fram slide it in and bolt it up, take literally 15 min. while your at it might as well upgrade those old rubber bushings with poly swaybar bushing

Yup just it is just as easy as those guys described. You may want to loosen the end links a bit but you do not have to remove them. Just watch out that the sway bar does not swing down and hit you in the face. It is heavier when you are laying down

, a very cheap and nice mod Does this Wonderbar do the same thing as a STB?
It is similar to a STB in that it reinforces the frame, however it does not perform the exact same function. STBs are for keeping the front frame from flexing inward when the suspension gets loaded. Wonderbars are for tighter steering response and preventing the sheet metal holding the steering box from ripping; a common occurance on our aging cars.
Do a search on "wonderbar" or "steering brace" and read. There's a lot of info.

I tried ordering the Edlebrock 3pt STB however the company I ordered it from wanted a photocopy of my visa card. I didn't feel that this was a safe thing to do so I declined the order. I need to find me a company that sells that product and ships to Canada

I actually just ordered my TDS wonderbar last week, should be here tomorrow and getting installed tomorrow also. I also ordered Spohn's poly sway bar bushings to help that all out too, and i'll likely do a STB in the next few weeks (I'm in steering and suspension class, and I like to work my car out in every area while i'm in each class, so I got 6 more weeks to get my suspension all done out!!)

installed mine yesterday with new poly swaybar bushings, tightened up the body roll and steering response a lot, she handles a lot better.
