LS1 swap: Hawk's new chassis component questions

Wasn't sure if I should post this here, or in the "Engine swap" forum.

Hawks (sponsor link above) is now showing a tubular K members for LS1 engine swaps into thirdgens. Is it race-only? Or would it work for daily driving?

I was curious if anyone has more information, or is running any of their suspension / chassis components.

They also sell a rack and pinion setup.

What is the benefit of running this over the stock parallelogram suspension? Mine needs to be rebuilt, and if the rack and pinion kit they sell has similar costs, (I need a rebuilt steering box too, not sure if this kit also replaces the stock one) it might be worth it.

Cool. Thank you for answering my thread.

Do you have a link to yours on the engine swap forum?
