spohn panhard not ligning up

I took out my factory panhard in like 2 minutes. The holes on the Spohn bar aren't ligning up. I thought if I moved the differential up and down that would help since one end is attached to the axle. Any other ideas?

how far off is it? you have the rear end suspended in the air right? might help to have someone push on the appropriate side to line the bolts up.

I got it. I guess the rear just shifted a little even though I had it supported by the jack. It just needed to move less than a 1/4". I was gonna put in my lca's tonight too, but I need a different socket and Sears was closed today.

Cause the non adjustable one is cheaper, and I'd probably just mess something up if I started adjusting stuff anyway.

Is there really a need for an adjustable one?

Yes, when you lower the car it'll shift the rear to one side. Using an adjustable one you'll be able to move it back to center.

yeah, when i installed all my suspension parts my rear was shifted to one side and my adjustable panhard bar helped to correct this.

Yeah, but if you have no plans or intention to lower the car, what benefit (or need) is there to the adjustable panhard and LCA's?

Have a Great Day!!!

I'm lowering with those Eibach springs though. Hopefully it won't be too bad, only 1.5" drop.

i put on Eibach springs and the new GM thicker isolator and my car's ride height didnt change too much and the rear end was still shifted about a 1/2 inch to one side

I have the Hotchkis 1" lowering springs, so would that have affected the alignment at all?

Well I got the panhard and lca's all in. I didn't really notice any difference, but I guess I wouldn't under normal street driving.

I noticed the potholes and normal bumps in the road are a lot nicer and no where near as harsh. But now, I can definately feel a TON of bodyflex that is just driving me insane! But since Im getting an IROC or Z28 soon, i'll just have to live with it...
