Where to get alston WELD ON sfc's?

Where can I get the weld on, not bolt on, version of the alston subframe connectors?

I have always been of the understanding that they are the same thing, one just comes with bolts and the other doesn't. Mine are welded on!

There are 2 versions, the bolt on and the weld on. I remember seeing them a while back and they were a lot cheaper too, but I can't seem to find them now. Anyone know?

I don't think any such animal exists, at least not anymore. I priced around before buying mine a couple months ago and lon was the cheapest. I paid around $175 for mine bare without the hardware. MAC makes a set that are basically the same and cost less but they don't have the "cups" that attach around the frame-rails. They are a weld on design, and I assume that they were probably modeled after these weld-on style alstons that you speak of. I went with the ones TDS sells because of how they saddle the frame-rails, thus giving me more of a contact area to weld. I don't know if that would make any difference....but it makes me happier.
good luck

The Alstons are bolt on/weld on. They're one in the same. I had mine bolted on initially, now they're welded.

I can get them from Alston. Are you aware that you need to hack the floorboard to install them? I mentioned this topic with Mike Ruth at Alston when I visted their facility today. He said they are still available, but they aren't really showing or promoting them any more. The bolt-in version is a much cleaner and easier product to install and gives you the option of welding them. But if you want them, just let me know. IMO, the cost savings isn't worth the extra installation hassles.
