Thirdgen brake woes....
I've had my 92 Formula for about 3 years now, and the brakes have always seemed mediocre. They just don't stop the car as well as I think they should. I even had all calipers and rotors replaced due to the fact the car sat for so long prior to me buying it, because all those components rusted. Are there any basic upgrades that people are doing to these cars to squeeze a little more performance out of the brakes? I have a 92 Buick Riviera that stops a lot better than the Formula! That just ain't right....
I'm using the Bendix MKD-154 front pad that I think works really well. Also swapping out the rubber flex hoses for Earls braided lines will help. A search on brakes will turn up several others doing up grades to C4, C5, 1LE, LS1 brakes.

I also vote for the Bendix. The Titanium series is awesome.
