What is required or part of the process of changing the front brake rotors?
for example, if i put on new rotors, do i need to do bearings? ball joints? studs?
explain it all, because i just dont know.

get new inner and outter bearings with seals. also if your calipers are original its probably not a bad idea to change those too, they arent too expensive. other then that theres nothing really you'd really change unless you had a problem. upgrade the brake line maybe if your going to change the caliper.

The front calipers are $11.99 each at advance autoparts. With $10 cores for your old ones.
Very cheap. I plan on getting them soon just for safe measure. Plus I get a 20% discount off the 12$ calipers lol.
