well the panhard bar keeps the rear end centered on the car, and the trailing arms (lower control arms) connect the rear end to the sub frame and allow the rear to articulate, also aftermarket ones will help eliminate wheel hop where as the stamped steel one flex and twist

as for what kinds to get, if your going for a race application then i'd suggest spohn rod/spherical adjustable LCA's and pan hard, with LCA relocation brackets, and a adj. torque arm wouldn't hurt either a

but if your just doing it to upgrade stock suspension for daily driving then i'd go with just the plain lakewood panhard and LCA's with poly bushings (cheapest ones i could find; good quality)a new set of shocks wouldn't hurt either, i've found this set up plus lakewood 50/50 drag shocks and the eibach prokit (1.6" lowering springs) to be very streetable as well as beneficial at the track just my $.02

No matter what components you get, try and get them from the same source. BMR, sphon, lakewood and others are good, but mixing and matching vender components may negate some of your gains.

Polyurathane busings for the front end and new parts may be good too.

Each vendor has their speciality.....

I think getting an entire suspension from one vendor is a bad choice, think individually about who makes the best product for specific application and go with them

Choosing a vendor for SFC's simply becuase you already have their STB and wonderbar is not a logical way of thinking.....or vice versa

For my plans, no two parts are from the same vendor, each part was picked for quality, not for name brand..

High quality parts from multiple people is not a bad choice either.

I would think the bottom line is planning and research.

Make sure you make a well informed choice. Searching this site is a good spot to start.

I probably should have said "consider one vendor".
