Front brake upgrade opinions

I am about to upgrade my front brakes. Can't afford to do both right now and the back are still decent. I would like some opinions on what is best and why. I am not sure what I want at this time. Any help will be greatfull. Thanks guys. Oh and this is a daily driver but also looking at putting it at track as soon as engine is finished.

If cash is a problem look into ed Miller's C4 upgrade. At $550 complete it's a good deal.

What kind of wheels you using? That will determine how big you can go.

I think he upped the price a little from that. But, still a very budget oriented setup

Right now I am sticking with the stock rim size. I am not sure if I am getting rims or not. I have some nice stock ones that have never been on a car.

I have 15" stock wheels and I would really like to know what brakes would be good upgrades. I have drums on the back and don't have the money or the luck of finding a rearend, so those will stay. I was thinking about putting stock size gross drilled rotors and new pads up on the front with SS brake lines. Does that sound like a good plan?

Oh, and I have completely redone the rear drums, so those are good.

1LEs will fit most stock 15" rims. I think the 12" C4s may too.

Really!?! Ever catalog I have read said that the 1LEs required 16" wheels are larger.

For 15" wheels, go with the 12" C4s. I loved mine and only swapped them out to install the larger 13" C4 HDs. They fit the GTA wheels great.

The 1LEs will fit 15" wheels depending on the offset and backspacing. IT's a tight fit but they'll fit.
