Lowering?

How much would oyu lower your camaro. I seen a few options on how much you can drop them. From 1.0", 1.3" 1.8" below stock ride height. What do you think would be best?

For most people I would say go with about a 1in drop...it the rest of your suspension and you really want to go lower then you can go up to about 2in.

If i lower it 1" do i need to get Adjustable Lower Control Arms? Or will a reg Lower Control arm work? But I would need to get an Adjustable Panhard Bar right.

It all depends on where you drive. Mine is down 2 full inches up front (actually closer to 2.25) and about 1.75 or 2 in the rear. The only thing I drag is the air dam. My exhaust has drug, but it was in a friends dirt driveway. Any time you lower the car at all you SHOULD go with the adjustable panhard rod, but the control arms are not necessary. I am running Granetelli non-adjustable rear arms and a Spohn adjustable panhard rod in my car. The one thing you should get are the relocation brackets to correct the geometry of the rear suspension after you lower it.

Spohn has them. Actually Spohn has everything you need. When looking at brackets, get the weld in ones, not the bolt-in ones. If you do go with bolt-in's, weld them in too.

I have Eibach pro kit springs which lowered my car a little over an inch. You also might want to get a Spohn adjustable panhard bar to center your rearend. It will move a little when you lower it. (mine did)

If you decide to go with an adjustable panhard rod, get the Spohn. The adjustment point is closer to the low end, so adjusting it is really easy, even with the car on the ground.

Damn straight! Took about 5 minutes to adjust mine and looks great in the red powder coat.

Amen brother! My car is so low, I have to jack it up (or drive onto my custom made ramps) to, well, jack it up! A friend has one that the adjustment point is in the middle and let me tell you, that thing is a bitch to adjust.
