Brake pedal pulsing??

Ok, this is really weird. I just redone all my front braking system, calipers, hoses, new rotors, pads, hardware. Drove perfect for 3 or so months then my car flooded due to bad t-top seals. I got pissed and parked the car for about a month and a half. After being theatened to be towed from the front of my house i went to move it and my brake pedal is pulsing up and down very bad with poor stoping capability. No shaking in vehicle, steering wheel, anything...just the pedal is bouncing up and down and i cant stop. Booster? Any ideas greatly appreciated

Warped rotor(s). Do you have rear disc brakes or drums? Was the E-brake engaged the entire time the car sat?

Will just siting warp a rotor? But yes, the e-brake was engaged the whole time it sat and it was seized when I disengaged it.

Probably then the rotor has furry rust all over it except for the spots where the pads were.

The wheel would start to shake only if the fronts are warped. The rears woun't cause steering shake. When the e-brake is clamped on the rotors for awhile, they will start to warp the metal- this is good info for anyone that doesn't know this. You should only use your e-brake when necessary when leaving the car parked, otherwise don't use it if not necessary.

With that said, it is imparitive that you DO pull it now and then to 1) keep it functional, and 2) keep the pads adjusted up to par- e-brake mechanisms are generlly self adjusting by pulling the handbrake lever up and down a few times(they won't over adjust)

Just have the rears turned to true and clean them up.
