Did an 87 Iroc come with 15 inch wheels?

Did an 87 Iroc come with 15 inch wheels?
A guy on e-bay says he has a steering box
from an 87 Iroc z28 he says it had 15 * 7 rims
it has a part #26000525 then there is a 211
it also has the z stamping he says it is a 2.5 turn ratio but if all Iroc's from 87 had 16 inch wheels doesn't it have to be a 2.25 if it actually came out of an irocz28?
Can someone help me before I get ripped off?

15X7 was the base wheel size for the IROC; the great majority of them (probably over 95%) were upgraded to the optional 16X8 wheels. Plus there was a rare 15X7 version of the 16X8 wheels available at some point...
So, it is possible that it came with 15" wheels, but more likely the had been swapped on at some point for whatever reason.
