Body roll :(

my car has some serios issues of body roll. i have put a upper sway bar and new lower bushings along with a wonder bar and everytime i corner a little sharp the tires yell at me and it feels like im gonna tip it. im not talking about fast wheel yanking corners im talking about 30 mph corners. my berlinetta had some of the same issues but that was another story,i just dont see were my big prob is.i hear alot that the f bods has great handling im just wondering were mine went. the only thing i could think of is springs because i have a v8 with v6 springs. however my buddys 92 bird with v6 springs and a v8 will out handle me corner after corner.

all suggestions welcome.

That's what I'd say....put in new Moog replacement springs or go with a set from Eibach..my cars turn on rails.

RS: KYBs with Z28 springs, 34/24mm swaybars
Iroc: KYBs with Eibach Pro kit, 36/24mm swaybars

I agree with what Ed said but I am also suspicious of this statement. Did you replace the swaybar? If so was it the front or rear swaybar? Do you know what size swaybars (Front/Rear) were on the car originally? And what size the new one is?

Part of it is that its an RS
Part is that its now a v8, it has weaker springs, and smaller swaybar then it should.

Another part is just flat age of the car, and some of the parts are worn out.

Alignment, when was the last one? remember adding a v8 slapped about 200 more lbs on the front, and in theory, "lowered" the car.

I've got a pair of new rear Moog springs, PN 5665. $25 shipped and they're yours.

try to get some 36mm front/24mm rear swaybars from the junkyard. Those should get rid of most body roll along with springs/shocks/struts.

Just make sure you get some good endlinks. The first time I drove my Z28, I wanted to take a corner a little quick and I swear the body almost rolled off the the frames...at least that's what it felt like. Got under there to check it out....and I find that I have NO endlinks....they were rusted to crap. So just make sure the endlinks are in good condition or else your sway bars won't do anything for you.
