Eibach Pro Kit Drop for IROC
Hello,
I have an 89 IROC and I am putting some money into the suspention. I've recently purchased a set of new Tokico HP Blue shocks and a edelbrock adjustable panhard rod. I've been looking into springs for a while and I want a set of good springs for hard driving. Any suggestions on springs would be greatful, but my question as of now is if I get the Eibach Pro Kit springs will my car still be lowered 1 inch? I know the IROC's came with better springs than the other models and I want to keep at least the same ride height if not a little lower.
Thanks alot.

Yes the Pro Kit will lower your car 1" or so and yes they are a good spring choice. I have them with KYBs and love the ride....stiff but not too stiff.

just remember the eibach kit lowers the car from stock "factory" height of your car. if you have mileage and worn springs with your suspension it probably won't move all that much.
the better choice you can make with your strut/shock combo the better your springs will work. the eibach pro-kit really works best with bilstein hd's however koni yellows are excellent with them. tokicos aren't too bad and kybs are very stiff and rather untolerable compared to the others.
if you are really in a pinch the cheap gabriels work decent but will be shot after 10,000 miles.
you get what you pay for in most cases with these pieces. reguardless though you'll love the springs and if anyone is interested i have a set of eibach pro-kit for sale for 120+shipping.
