Brake line adapters

I recently purchased a Hurst Roll Control. Through some searching through this board I discovered our brake lines use Metric 10x1.00 bubble flare connections. This poses the problem of finding the correct adapters or going through hell adapting to standard then to 1/8 NPT. Or the other alternative of hacking off our connectors and going to SAE double flare, which would be a pain to do under the hood.

I have just ordered the proper adapters for M10x1.00 bubble to 1/8 NPT. Just thought I would share this information to anyone that might be planning on installing a line loc or adjustable proportioning valve. I bought the fittings from the Chassisshop . They are made by CNC Inc.

I ordered the 884 adapters. The 896 adapters will work aswell. I just thought the 90 degree might make things a little easier. Since I will be installing my line loc I ordered extra adapters and the Wilwood adjustable prop valve from them. I figure while I was working in that area to do them both at the same time.

This is a very nice find. Until now, I have only seen this done by either converting the flares on the hardlines (like you stated), or it could be done using two different earls fittings and a very small piece of braided hose.(the hose is not a good route- You always want as much hardline in the brakeline system as possible. The more braided or rubber hose, the softer you line pressure to the wheels)

Again, great find, This should somehow be written and keep in a sticky so it doesn't get lost. It would be great if someone could list all of the years cars that lump together with the individual thread styles into and out of the stock prop valves so someone could always reference this sticky and know what they have, then how to convert theirs to either and Aftermarket propvalve or an aftermarket line lock based on year- without having to do any line reflaring.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but is this correct? I have an 86 IROC with rear disks and I'm putting in a rear proportioning valve. The valve takes the 1/8 NPT, but i'm not for sure if the female end is 10MM x 1.0 bubble is the correct size for what goes into and out of the stock proportioning valve, thanks.
