Lookin for new set of tires.
It time again for a new set or tires, although premature i feel. I am currently ridding on BFG G-force KDWS and got about 25,000 out of them and now they are hard as a rock. I am throughly dissapointed since they have a wear ratting of 400. that aside, I have done many searched in these forums and i am getting very mixed feedback. I did some reasearch at tirerack.com, I found a set of Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires for $106 apiece. From all the reviews and the ratings give these seem like the best tire in the price range (up to $130 apiece roughly). Has anyone ever ran these tires? The other set was Yokohama AVS dB S2's for $116 a piece. Another concern is that neiter of these are Z rated and the guy that put on my BFG's said that Z rated tires needed to be put on that car for legal safty reason. They are going on a '91 Z-28 with the 350. Was that just a line to get me to spend more $$$ at his shop? Help would be greatly appreciated.

i forget what the ratings are but z would be like 120 mph or something higher than that. stock our cars came with an hr rated tire i belive. the gator back had a zr rate but who drives that fast anyway.
bridgestone makes a great tire also check them out while your looking for wear and money for service there is no better than bridgestone.
