ATTN: power rack and pinion people...

i finally got my steering connected in my car (partially). it seems that everyone that did the swap ran the cobra rack with 2.25 turns lock to lock. i however used an LX rack that has 3.0 turns lock to lock. everyone with the cobra rack complaind about poor turning radiuses, when i got my steering connected the first thing i did was turn the wheels as far as theyd go to see how far they turned, i was surprised to see this...

it looks like my wheels turn pretty damn far, the ackerman is off i think tho. it is my idea that reducing the throw of the rack was fords way of creating less turns lock to lock, and it would make sense because the cobras had large wheels and tires and prob would rub with an LX rack. so the break down is..

LX rack = tightest turning radius due to longer throw
GT rack = less turning radius then the LX
Cobra rack = widest of them all

u guys that have converted shed some light on this so the other people that are thinking about this wont be in the dark like we were
