control arm relocation brackets installed wrong. will they still work?

I got a set of spohn lower control arm relocation brackets installed on my new disc brake rear. when i couldnt get my driveshaft in, i realized that the dumbass at the shop i went to welded the brackets on wrong. the stock control arms are off from the original mount by at least 3/4" when place in the bottom hole. can i get adjustable control arms to correct this, or is my geometry completely screwed now?

Dude, that is bad.

Did he weld these on while the rear end was out of the car?

Are you sure the rear end is in it's original position? It has not shifted forwards or backwards or twisted in place?

Anytime it is off by that much, things like the torque arm and the panhard rod will not line up correctly and will be twisted or pointing up or down from where they should.
Think about how that will affect the torque arm- does it still fit?

Any pictures?

It was welded while the rear was out of the car so i could get it powdercoated. the torque arm and panhard bar fit fine and arent binding from what i can tell with it sitting there. i put the control arms in the stock location and measured center to center. at the stock mount, i get 19 1/4". at the second hole i would need 19 3/4". at the bottom hole, i need 20" for the rear to be centered. i have an adjustable torque arm and an adjustable panhard bar, so maybe adjustable control arms will do the trick.

is every thing loose while your doing this?

if you tightened your tourque arm and panhard arm that is the problem. every bolt has to remain loose till you put the cars weight on the axle to tighten. you may just have it bound up keep every thing loose shake it around some it should line up for you.

i didn;t think you could weld the spohn brackets wrong as it has a bolt for locating it and a wedges inside that helps line it all up. i think the only way to screw it up is to put it on backwards which would be very hard to do.

It might just be a matter of the rear end not being positioned correctly while you are measuring, as mentioned.

On the other hand, how did the weldor (welding guy) locate the brackets prior to welding them. What was his reference point?
I understand your situation with powder coating and such. When I did mine it was with the rear end in the car and I did them one at a time.

And why do you post him being the dumbass? Kinda off harsh wordss to someone that was simply going off your request. How is he suppose to know what YOUR measurements are when you bring him the axle out of the car?

Anyhow, this is a perfect example of how adj LCA's benefit changes made to the car.
