If lowered more than 1.5" come in

Just lowered my 91 RS vert with 305. dropzone 1.75" drop front and back. my question is, what can i do to reduce the rubbing of the inner fenders? My front wheels are tucking inside the wheel well, def dropped my car over 2" ...i love the look but want to be able to turn all the way to eash side without rubbing. anyone have problems with their tires hitting the top of the rear wheel wells on their convertible, with the flattened trunk area? I'll post pics wheni get everything looking good.

I don't have the plastic inner fenders anymore. I don't have any problems either, except on full-lock slow speed turns. There's nothing you can really do about it.
And my car is pretty damn LOW.

Now that you're dropped the condition of your struts/shocks really make a difference. If they are dead or worn, they may allow more suspension travel than you desire. To stop the car from bottoming out you need to check the bumpstops. Chances are, they are still the stock units which are brittle and cracking by now. Replace those with a properly sized set, maybe different size than stock. Also what tire size are you running?

my front struts are brand new, but my rear ones are old i believe, im only worried about the front tho. I'm running stock 16x8's with 245/50/zr16's are you talking about the front bumpstops or the rear? I dont know anything about the front ones, rears shouldnt be a problem. I'll get some pics today of the car to show how low it is now.

Did you remove your inner fender guards? or dont yours hit?

thanks.

Mine are cut(tell tommorow ), with good struts. I'm guessing I'm just a hair over 2"

Normally I run 235/65/15 and dont hit top/bottom. I rub inner tire to fender in parking lots.

This past week I have 245/50/zr16's and rub inner tire to fender quite a bit in parking lots. But I'm still not hitting fenderlip front or rear.

I shaved the front stops, rears are still stock.

:edit: fender guards are still on mine.
