Here's some pics. Prokit or Sportlines?
I want to get new springs. Prokit or Sportlines? I HATE the way the car sits right now. I am putting on '92 style ground effects and bumpers next month. I want it lowered, but it seems that the prokits don't really lower it that much.....so I'm leaning towards the sportlines. Oh, and the car is an '83. Is there a way to measure and see if the springs are sagging or not? Thanks boys!!

Car doesn't sit that bad to begin with really. I would say try removing the chrome fender flares, and you would be suprised what a set of 17 inch wheels can do for your stance. If you plan on doing any type of long tube header in the future, then sportlines are out of the question.

Well I think these are going to be the last rims I get. They are 16". I just don't know what the heck to do......I mean I am upgrading struts/shocks and springs, but i want it lowered. Not 1/4" off the ground or anything. I just don't know which Eibachs to go with. The thing is it's not a cheap 20 dollar thing you can just replace if it doesn't work right. And I am ordering these springs from Los Angeles. Cuz here in Canada, they cost 525$!!!!! It's retarded, they are less than half the price in the U.S.

Well, from what your car looks like now, It is at about the same height that you would be at if you put in the Pro Kit. The only difference being that the Pro Kit would help your handling over the stock springs due to a different spring rate. Using quality shocs and struts is also a good idea as well. Bilstien's are probably the best, but the most expensive, but Koni's will also work. If you want to go lower than you are now, sportlines are what you want. And don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the rims on your car now, however, I think that a 17 inch wheel/tire combo will fill out the wheel well more, and give the car an even lowered look, even though the actual height remained the same.
I have Pro-Kit, and from the pictures you posted, you'd drop an inch all around with them. My ride is quite a bit lower than yours. I think I have about 2 or 3 fingers worth of clearance from the top of my tires to the bottom of the fender with Kumho 712s on the front.
