4th Gen wheels what spacers are needed?

I am thinking about putting some 4th gen style wheels (ZO6) on my 3rd gen. What spacers will I need for the front and the rear? Car has 3rd gen rear with disc brakes.

2" front and rear will work. I would get them from www.skulte.com

Search. You have a few options depending on the offset of the wheels. Are the ZO6 factory or aftermarkets? to my knowlegde there are about 5 different offsets for those wheels.

Do you want 4th gen rims or Z06 rims? I believe the offsets are slightly different. Either way, you should get away with a 2" adapter front and rear.

Go to www.skulte.com and go to their tech section, there's an article and table showing which spacers are needed for what offsets/backspacings..

1" adapters?

ok i have a quick question. I dont know if i would be screwed or not. I just got the Z06 rims and tires from my uncle and ordered the adapter kit from summit. The only thing is that the adapter kit is 1". The tires on the rear are 295/35/18 and fronts are 265/40/17. Will it still work but its just that i have to do some banging in the tire wall? anyways i already have them on order and if you guys and check the link out below and tell me what you think i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help! Here is the link below

You *might* be able to get away with just banging the bejesus out of the rear wheel wells, but the fronts won't clear the suspension pieces (struts!)

You will need the 2 inch spacers. Its going to be tough even on the back b/c you will have to set the BFH to mass destruction level to get the back to clear. Fronts probably won't as said...

well i checked out the site and will be getting 2" for the front but as for the rear do you think 1 1/2" will be fine? i got the '02 vette rims which are 265/40/17 (9.5" rim) fronts and 295/35/18 rear (10.5" rim). Or will i be better off with 2" for the rear. I dont want it to stick out really, just but right there flush with the fender. Anyways i'll be posting my order soon so any info will help. thanks
