Trouble with noise after SFCs?
Has anyone had trouble with interior/exterior rattle and noise after installing Subframe Connectors? Now when I drive around and no1 is in the car it sounds like my door is rattling.... Anybody have this problem?

If your door is rattling, then the door is the problem. Check the hinges and the latch. Also could be the window guides and shot. Lots of items in the doors to rattle. The reason why you didn't hear them before is that the chassis was flexing, giving you a softer ride. The doors play an important part in the overall strength of the chassis, especially on t-top and convertibles.

Maybe there is some areas under the car that the subframe connectors are touching. This can happen expecially with a stock exhaust. Also when I disturbed the rear control arms, an annoying rattle came from the passenger side. I too thought it was a door. Turned out the bushing was not fitting tight in the hole, and some simple persuasion corrected the problem.
You are hearing noises now that were masked by louding ones before SFC installation. Or your installer put them on incorrectly.
After my installation (Spohn tube type) the car was tighter and more rattle free then when it was new. (original owners so I knew the difference)

Well, That would definatley kill the exhaust tapping idea. If it is not a loose bushing in the rear control arm, (as it was in my case), it must be the door area as Lon stated.
Lon brought up a good point, because my passanger window makes a very faint rattle only when the window is halfway down. Maybe its time for a new window guide, as I replace my 38,000 original mile power window motors!

I never noticed a problem with my doors until I had SFC installed. A couple months after the install I noticed a lot of noise and rattleing from the doors over bumps and stuff. I have replaced both hinge pins with greasable ones from AndyZ28 and the annoying rattles are GONE.

Keep an eye on your Y-pipe a well. it is very common for your y-pipe to bang into your SFC. Some people even just tach them together to keep them still. Sounds like you found your problem with the doors though.

Which SFCs did you install? You didn't say which ones and that would help as there are many differences in design.
