are you sure you put the right ones on the right area? I dont mean to sound dumb here but the front and rear rims have a different backspacing which may be your problem.

If you have no choice but to run the wheels then you might be able to locate a set of those real thin spacers that somce Irocs and T/A's came with on the rear and see if they work on the front. That is, if the tie rod is only rubbing alittle bit.

well i didn't think these rims had different offsets so that might be the problem.. if not i'd have to see about the spacers hopfully i would be able to get them from a part store because i can't really wait for them to be shipped.

try a local junkyard. or make your own. if you only need a 1/8" or so then go to a scrap yard and look for 1/8" steel and just cut out a circle and then drill out the center for the hub and then put 5 holes in it for the studs. That will get you rolling for a little while until you can locate some OEM aluminum ones somewhere. Put a post in the classifieds or something? Do you have a buddy with a an iroc that can try his on your car?

looks good to me thanks. i'll try to look tomorrow and see if they're offset, if not then i'll buy some. yes it is only a little bit that it's rubbing, doesn't rub unless i hit a bump, hit the brakes.

Swap the rears to the front, fronts to rears. Each wheels should say "front" or "rear" on it.

Yep, they are marked on the back (inside area next to the brake drums/calibers area where it's not visible standing next to the car). Are both fronts rubbing? If not, just swap the one that is, but I'd check the markings on all of them. If you look at the outside of the wheel while mounted on the car, you should see an obvious difference in the amount of width showing on the wheel itself (not the tire)
