bump stop to tire clearance

what do you think the safe minimum clearance from the tire to the bump stop in the static condition that would provide for no contact during suspension movement.

In the rear?

Why not just test it? Put the body on jack stands, then let the rear end droop to see if the tires will hit the bumpstops, that way you know if the tires will hit the bumpstops at full travel.
