Springs and Drop
Can any one tell me if either of these eibach springs will work on my third gen.
I have a 87 IROC with 17" wheels 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, 1982-1992 V8 F-body (1" Drop Front & Rear) or the
Eibach Sport-Line Springs, 1982-1992 V8 F-body (1.6" Drop Front & 1.3" Drop Rear)
I am worried about the car hitting my tires on bumpy roads

You will be fine with either of those sets of springs. I run a 26" tall tire on a 17X9 with the sportlines and do not bottom out one bit. A lot of that has to do with wheel fitment. Since you sound like you are keeping your current wheels you shouldn't have a problem.

I have BMR springs and a set of regular shocks that are five years old. My front left tire hits so much the rubber inside to the fender has a large hole in it. I had to use a set of metal braces to pull up my right rear springs to keep the fender weld from cutting into the tire. Who ever had the car before me bondo both rear quarter panels so I cannot roll the welds. I now have some funds and I have got a set of KYB adjustable shocks and am now looking at the 1" droop Eibach just to be on the safe side. I will be adding tubular A-Arms.
BTW for yall in Texas check out my post on a Great event
