I am doing a front end rebuild, and I wan't to pick up a set of front lower control arms to build up and swap out. Does anyone know part numbers or what other vehicles use the same ones as the 82-92 f bodies. I did a search but was not able to get my answers.

 

SOMETHING else uses them; but I'm not sure what. They have shock absorber mounting holes in them for a 2-arm system. Probably A/G cars and/or S trucks.

Just get some from a junkyard. I think I paid $30 a pair last time I wanted some, for doing exactly what you're doing. They have interchange books that tell what parts off of what cars and years fit what other cars and years.

 

The salvage yard that I normally go to is a self service yard, so you pretty much have to know what you after. The people working there can barely make change correctly.

 

I've read that the s-series is the same. So that means like regal and few others should be same also.

Other A & G bodies are Cutlass, Chevelle/Malibu/El Camino/Monte Carlo, Grand Prix (78-up, and RWD only of course)

The junkyard always has the interchange book. Ask them to look it up for you.
