crappy tires from sears

I bought a set of 245/50/16 Assurety superguard HR directional speed rated tires from sears and they shake my whole car now.
I have had them balanced several times, checked my driveline and axles, and finally put the car up on jackstands, put it in gear, and you can tell they are not round! the rims are smooth but the tires are bouncing all over. Before I bought them I had Bridgstones on it and it rode smooth as glass. I figure it could only be the tires because I replaced each tire and rim with one I knew was straight and balanced with no improvement at any position.
Has anyone else bought these tires and had this problem?
I'm fixing to head down to sears and give them what for about them and expect to get them replaced. I don't want to hear a bunch of crap excuses from the mgr. and any info you could give me would help with my explanation.

Explain what u have witnessed yourself.

If it truly didnt shake before you got the tires, then more than likely they are the problem.

See if they have a road force type balance machine and ask them to perform it since u have been back several times for a conventional balance.

At one point or another I can name almost any brand of tire that I had bad and they were brand new. If they know what they are doing, they should be able to verify this very easily doing the roadforce type of balancing, and if they are as bad as u say they are, they should be able to just check them on the vehicle spinning them by hand

later

Formula wheels are dedicated wheels meaning the Right-Front wheel must always be kept on the right front-etc. I'm not sure that it's even possible to mount the wrong when in the wrong spot. You should looking to this and see if they possibly mounted your wheels in the wrong locations.

When I bought the tires I specified all rims in same location. I also stood outside the bay and watched to make sure! As far as dedicated positioning the manual specifies front only and rear only. They are even marked from the factory on the inside of the rims.
As far as the steel belts being broken, these tires have vibrated from day one. That in my book would qualify as a "crappy tire".
I should have seen this coming being that I have never heard of this brand of tire but I thought that Sears wouln't sell crap but I was wrong. I would love to hear from someone else who has had these same tires. I don't even know who makes them (probably Tiawan). Anyway at $456.00 I got ripped off and I'm going back to sears to test their warranty because I want my car smooth again. I know it's the tires causing the problem because I had to replace an axle when I bought the car and I've seen what smooth is after I replaced it. The bridgstones I replaced only had 3/32nds of tread depth left and were basicly worn out and they were still better than than the new ones!!

I'm pretty sure those Assurity tires are made by Bridgestone. You probably got defective tires, take em back and they should be able to spot it on the balancer.

Did u go back? Did they warrenty them? At my work u get a 30 day test drive, if u dont like them theyll put another tire on it. Bridgestones are the best.

No, I haven't been back for the third time yet. Bought them on 7-27-03 at 138xxx mi. I have 144xxx on it now and have to get some more cash to make up the difference for the 2/32 I've used on them so far. The reason I haven't been back sooner is I was an over the road truck driver till a few mo. ago and only drove the car about every 2 weeks. I now have a job that is 41 mi. away on 70 mph interstate. I never realized how bad the tires shook the car till I had to drive it every once in a while when the wife had to drive the 03 GP.
