Spohns new boxed lca's
The question is whether or not the Spohn Boxed LCAs are stronger than the Spohn Tubular LCAs.
I imagine the boxed ones are stronger due to their size, but should only be used on stock height cars. Lowered cars should use the adjustables for good alignment.

When did Spohn release boxed LCA's? He hasn't sent a "New Products" newsletter to his mailing list yet.
Did he start a thread on this forum that I somehow missed?
Adding a boxed LCA to his product line seems like a redundency.

I agree I'm kinda questioning why he came out with them, it's kinda like saturating your own market. But they're on his website.

Sorry! I didn't realize he had a new product. I would wager that the boxed versions are stronger than the tubular versions. As far as which one for a daily driver? I think they would both be about the same.

well i'm leaving my car at stock height, but i'm wanting the strongest aftermarket lower control arm i can find, i was gonna get his tubular ones in chromeoly, but the boxed ones seem to look beefier and more able to handles the stresses of daily driving

I would get the boxed ones if i was dragracing, they are heavier but probably stiffer than the tubes. Only really good for strait line and a lot of traction though (IMHO). I still don't like the poly bushed aftermarket arms because i feel they will increase binding over the twisty stock arms and poly bushings
