How about Kenny Brown SFC. How do they compair with the one from UMI, BMR, Spohn.....

The only thing about the one from UMI that I'm wondering about is how bulky they look, and is it going to hang down alot after they have been installed....

brdofpry85ta, you will not find a single person that has anything bad to say about the KB sfcs. They are reasonably light from the feedback I've heard, and to me, they look to be the best designed of any on the market. They are definitely not competitively priced with others though. The cheapest I can find them is $265.05 + $17.95 S/H.

Juat wanted to add Spohn Performance for another comparison. I have them on my 91 Z and they work awesome. Optional chromoly material is availabe and they are hidden completely. Only dilemna is they are weld in only. Spohn.net is the website, I think.

I installed a set for a friend. Ugh. Couldnt get the welds right. Square tubing would have been alot better too.

I have Alstons on my car and love them.

preference

I perfer square tubing also. I also perfer to have a set of sfc with a bigger dimension that are able to take the torque of a bigger motor so that my car wont twist.

round tubing is alot stringer though.

Yes, while that is true, try to weld a circle onto a square and tell me what happens. The alstons are round BTW.

What I was referring to though, is if they were going to put the SFC's in the location they did, they could have at least used square tubing to make installation about 500 times easier.

yes

id have to agree. Round tubing fitment is not as easy to install as the boxed type. It is harder to get correct and harder to weld.

- hard to compare round vs square when you're looking at two totally differently designed connectors.

true

Is almost up to preference and personal option which sfcs someone buys and installed. One thing is for sure though any sfc will be a great improvment. Each have their pros and cons.

I like the UMI SFCs shown in the picture because they have a place for the lower control arms to attach to. My lower control arm points are rusty, thin and beat...
