Im running a all forged 383 with sportman 2 heads and a cold fusion fogger with pills for a 300hp hit, going threw a th350 with a trans brake to a 9in ford rearend with 3.90 gears, i need to get this thing to hook and i only have till april 2nd to get this car done so any help would be great. Thanks guys

Click on one of the above sponsor banners for www.spohn.net and buy his products. For most people, good aftermarket replacement parts for the factory setup will work fine.
If you want to use a torque arm system, you either need to buy a 9" housing that has the mounts welded on for the torque arm adaptor bracket or purchase the bracket and have the mounts welded onto your own 9" housing. If that's a 9" coming out of your G-body and into an F-body, it won't work. You'd be better off selling the G-body diff and buying one designed to fit into a third gen. I know the suspension is completely different. I'm not sure on the width.
My 9" housing came out of a 1970 F100 truck so I went with a ladder bar system for the easiest installation.

if you dont have subframe connectors and you have a 383 it would be a good idea to get some to prevent the allready weak and brittle unibody from twisting. Also they will let u utilize your torque so it actually hits the ground.

There should be some pics on my web site showing my ladder bar set up.
Since you already have the third member, that's a good chunk of change you don't have to spend. Order a third gen diff housing. It will come with axles. Make sure you know what spline count your carrier has. I'm guessing 31 spline. 28 spline is small and 35 is a bit of an overkill. I'm almost to the level where I need 35 spline but still run 31's. I have Strange axles in my diff. Custom ordered.
The third gen housing with axles should be less than $1000.

I agree on sticking w/ the factory suspension lay-out. Work very well, the factory pieces just aren't up to snuff. - I'm running a factory-style 3-link suspension with home-made sub-frames,boxed LCA's, relocates, and torque arm. My subframes are actually more of an "in floor frame", same concept, just stronger. I'm cutting 1.66 60fts on 17's...
