what size BS for 10" wheel WITH 4th gen rear
I am looking at new wheels for my car that dont need spacers and I need to know what size backspacing I will need to run a 17x10" in the rear with a 4th gen rearend. The wheels I am looking at only come in 8 and 10" widths so I am stuck with the 8" width up front which sucks because I have brand new Nitto 275/40/17 tires and I doubt they will lok good on an 8" wheel. So,again, which BS should I go with for the 4th gen rear with a 10" wheel? The front BS is 5.5" right"

it be the same as 4th gen fbody and vette wheels cuz i know they bolt right in with the 4th gen rear on our cars.
they spec out to be in the 6.7-7.9 inch range of backspacing for the 9.5-10.5inch wheels
depends on wheel design tho..and what u want to get like deep dish or w/e

Since 5.5" backspace works best for 10" rims on a third gen diff, add 2" on each side to compensate for the wider fourth gen diff. 7.5" backspace for 10" rims will keep the wheels in the same position.
