Yes 275/50's will fit on 7" rims but you are pushing it.The 15X7 5 spokes I just bought had 295/50's(have 235/60's all around now) and I wouldn't really feel comfortable on the street running them like this...just my .02.

I can see 275/60's, but 295/50??? That tire guy is braver then I am....
I wonder how fat I can go on my 15x8? 275/60 will start to look sissy soon , haha

ideally you'd want to run one of these tires (either 275/50 or 275/60) on a 15x10 wheel. i've been looking into widening my stock wheels to keep with the theme my father and i have had for a while now, but it's expensive...and i'm not quite up to par on TIGing aluminum just yet (give me another month or two). but once i'm confident, i'll be looking into what i can do to make a set of "fatties and skinnies" from a stock set of 15x7 z28 wheels. ie: 15x5 and 15x9 by cutting a 2" section from one and a 4" section from the other and swapping halves...
