How does your camaro with 18" wheels ride?

I'm the process of buying some 18" Z06 rims for my 86 camaro and I wanted know if I could get some feedback from you guys/girls with 18's on you car.

How does it ride?
Do they rub the fenders?
Should I go with 17's in front and 18's in the rear for better ride quality?

Thanks,
Jay

People do, they just aren't on the forums as often as you apparently hehe. You gotta keep in mind that the suspension setup also plays a huge role into the ride feel of the car. I ran my 18's with sportlines for a while, then went to stiffer linear spring rate setup. The ride difference between the two was drastic. I wouldnt go as far as to say this car rides good, but it sure performs good. I'm sure if you did the same wheels on a stock suspension car it would ride very close to stock suspension feel.

I cant really comment on the difference between my 15"s and 18"s because when I swapped the two out, I also redid almost my entire suspension...including SFC's. So the car was noticebly stiffer and you could feel more bumps, however it's nothing my back is going to break over....I like it

When I bought my car it had A Pro kit kyb agx's and gas shocks with regular tires on the stock 16" wheel. When I got it home I put on some 18x9"wheels with 265/35/18 tires and it does ride a little rougher but way better on corners! The car handles like it's on rails and it's smooth too.
