Bilsteins are prolly the best non-adj shock you can get.

i think im gonna run the bilsteins, now theres the spring q. Now theres the spring debate, ive narrowed it down to 2 choices the eibachs or the hotchkis, both lower the car about 1.5in anyone have any input on either of these??

I bought Bilstiens from SHOX.com recently ( they happen to be local to me) along with the pro-kit.

The prices on the fronts have gone up dramatically, be prepared..

I like this combo, and am pretty satisfied. however, I really wrestled with the bilstien/Koni question. I changed my mind at the last minute ( while at shox.com) and bought the bilstiens..

I should have listened to the hardcore susupension people on this board - a Koni will control springs better - bottom line -

I was hesitant- because I have Koni's onmy 4th gen and they do ride a little firmer for sure- however it is a higher quality of ride -albeit a little harsh at low speeds, though they have softened quite a bit over time -use.

Bilstiens have an awesome looking shaft, much larger than any of the competition - they are great shocks- but if I had to do it again I would of went with my first choice-Koni - I was just affraid they would ride like crap - to me 17" wheels ,KDW's and bilstien -pro-kit combo rides like crap at low speeds on rough roads - so

it doesn't make much difference - you will gain much more high speed stability /control with the Konis.

I like my Bilstiens, and are not unhappy with them at all- just when I start to go really fast, and want to be aggresive I wish I had bought the koni's.

at 70mph on the freeway , and on onramps and off ramps what I have is good.

Sharp bumps are controlled much better with the koni's- but you still feel the hit - just the car doesn't get off line, or upset as easy as with Bilstiens-
I'm refering to Koni yellows,

Still finding the limits of this set up, definetly handles well- just it doesn't handle sharp bumps well at all - which is spooky at the wrong times - freeway ride is great - which is where I spend most of my time..
