Truck Arm Rear Suspension

Ok, NASCAR uses it and so do the IROC boys. I know there is a shop in Burbank, CA called Hot Rods to Hell. They make this type of suspension for 67-81 F-Bodies, 78-88 G-Bodies and other cars (not third-gens though). Basically, would this be a better setup than modifing the torque-arm suspension or converting over to a 4-link suspension if it was available to third-gens?
