87 IROC rim offset

I just need to know the difference in inches between the front and rear rims...they're the 16x8 5 spokes

Hey, I have a question along these lines. What is the difference from an iroc with non-1LE 4 wheel discs and an iroc with front discs and rear drums?

I have an '88 Iroc convertable with rear drums. I want to get a set of torque thrust II's but I want to change to a disc brake rear over the summer. What are my options?

Sorry to highjack this thread but the search function is still down.

well the drum option changed the factory offset of the rims. typically what gm did was put a very small spacer in order to fit the wheel. this being said the offset is probably closer to around 12-14mm in the rear but that's just a guess. do some research and find out.

if you are going to spend the money on nicer rims wait until your certain the location of the wheel offset.

as far as the fronts, 1-le typically has a better brake upgrade changing the offset again.

Ah, Now I see. My rear has no spacers and my back tires appear to have a narrower track than the fronts. I will get some spacers, Use them with these rims and then with the TT II's. Then toss them when I swap rears.

Any suggestions as to what size Torque Thrusts and what offsets I should get?
