competition engineering subframe connector

i purchased a set of the CE subframe connectors part#cee-3046 from summit
they are semi weld on and bolt on. these connectors bolt on to the original crossmember holes and then you have to cut channels out of the floor pans and then weld them to the connector. that is all well and dandy but the connector does not weld to any solid part of the car. summit says that the kit must be used with a ce formed rear rail kit but they do not have a part # for the kit. I just checked the ce website and they dont even list a rail kit for the car. any ideas would be great..

THESE FRAME RAILS ARE FOR USE WITH CE'S UNIVERSAL FORMED REAR RAILS. IN OTHER WORDS: THIS KIT IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WHEN YOU ARE TUBBING THE CAR AND NARROWING THE REAR FRAME!!!! THE PRINT IS FINE, BUT IT IS NOTED IN THE SUMMIT CATALOG. THEY SELL THE FULL BOLT ON KIT FOR ABOUT $230 THAT WORKS WITH YOUR STOCK FRAME, HOWEVER YOU WOULD HAVE TO REROUTE YOUR EXHAUST PIPE!

HOPE THAT HELPS, ITS A MISTAKE THAT IM SURE HAS BEEN MADE BY MANY, AS I SEE MANY OF THOSE SUBFRAME CONNECTORS END UP ON E-BAY IN NEW CONDITION.

when i bought the connectors out of summit in 2003 they did not have any kind of notes in the catalogue. but my issue has to do with the rail kit. do i have to make one or does someone make on already. My car is not back halved and the connectors are already installed. It would have been nice if i the instructions there was some kind of note to this.
