Edelbrock Panhard Bar
I was just wondering if anyone has one or has used one, and also if they liked it or not. Just ordered one, and was kinda indifferent about it because my buddy broke his Edelbrock Torque Arm and it was on a mildly built 350.

The PHB does not undergo the kind of stress that a TA does. Basicly if you compare the material from one piece to the next and they are the same; the pieces have a similar strength.

I understand that, I was just wondering about the stength and longevity of the product. But thank you for your input.

Let me try this again. Look at the links. Edelbrock.com - Suspension - Suspension Components
Edelbrock Performance Products
Spohn Performance, Inc.

I do not like poly ends so of the above choices I only like one of them. The two adjustables with poly have a threaded adjuster in the middle of the tube which is a bad location for the weak point. The non adjustable poly versions well , lack adjustment.
Look at the design and look at the materials and your answer should become obvious. By the way the rodends do not add noticable harshness or road noise on a PHB. My choice is rodends but there are cheaper comparable products out there.

Well what about the solid Edelbrock PHB, thats the one I ordered. Its stock ride height so I dont think Im really gonna need an adjustable one.

ya, i think if you're not lowering your car, then a non-adjustable one will be fine. My Spohn is a solid (non-adjustable) bar and i have no regrets at all about buying that instead of an adjustable. (Although i have no plans for lowering my car, they already ride low from the factory!)

The Spohn part is stronger and has grease fittings. When it comes to strength the outside diameter is more important than the wall thickness. The Edelbrock should be fine though. You really want one with the grease fittings if you are using poly and I was not sure from the picture on the website if they were there.

Well I got it today, it seems great. It also has grease fittings. Thanks everyone.
