Question about my 91 camaro RS Frame
Ok i just have one question..i was driving my car and i got hit on the drivers side front bumper. the kid did enough damage to push in the subframe to the radiator support...which intern pushed the steering box back about 1/2 inch or mabye 5/8 inch..the only reason i know this is the steering gets caught up on the bolt that is sticking out of the a arm that is connected to the wheel. Now this sounds like he pushed it back pretty far but it actually isnt. I have driven the car since then and it drives without a pull. my question is 1 could i just cut off the affected part and weld on a straight peice that i can get from my newly aquired camaro or do you think that i a frame shop should be able to pull the subframe back out...i can pull out the fender support if needed and the radiator support i would take off of the parts one and whatnot..do you think that it is salvageable...the only reason i like it so much is it is a 91 rs it has t tops and it is teal green...lol and so mis my parts car except it isnt t tops...hard top.
