Rebuilding Steering box?

Engine: 305
Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.
Rebuilding Steering box?

Anyone have a step by step procedure for doing it? I've got a box that im gonna rebuild. and am looking for directions

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
If you have no knowledge, you're going to screw it up. Even step by step instructions will not tell you everything you need to know and what to look for. The last power steering box I took apart was when I was in school back in the early 80's.

I send out all the steering boxes I take off vehicles that have problems to a specialty shop. They have the tools and knowledge to repair and test them.

The only thing I'll repair is an input seal.

I understand how they work, i just what a step by step to refer to so i can make sure i have the right specs and have info for the specifics.
