Wonderbar installation problem
I found that though the swaybar brackets lined up with the wonderbar mounting holes, the additional 2 outer bolts did not line up with their holes. I've checked for cracks around the steering box and didn't find any. Does anyone have any ideas before I take the car to a frame shop to check that it's within spec? It should be fine - never in an accident/curbs... very conservatively driven. It's off by like 1/8" and is a tds wonderbar, if that helps.

Well, time makes fools of us all. Including our cars. It might just mean 1 too many potholes or maybe the whole uni-body shell is warped. My tds bar fit my WRECKED(pretty good front hit) car pretty well. I think the frame shop would be the best place to get it checked out.
Don't think of it as an installation headache, as an opportunity to fix a problem that already existed. If the shop says it's straight, then I think modifying the W-bar would be your best bet.

Thanks - I have some sub-frame connectors "waiting in the wings" so maybe it ought to have gone to the frame shop, wonder bar trouble or not. I'll take it in next week and post again.
