Swaybars?

What is the best size for sway bars on a third-gen Camaro? Does the general rule of bigger is better apply? Is there such thing as too big???

36mm is a good, and big size I think.

I think when u go over 36 the bar interfere with one of the steering rods
or something, not sure though.

I'm no expert, but I've read and learned alot here. I believe that there is such a thing as too big. If the rear is too big, it will be too stiff and break loose early and make the car handle worse. And if the front is too big compared to the rear, the car will understeer.

I got the spohn set (front and rear) off of their website and find that they are matched really well. The car pulls around corners like its on rails now. No matter how many times I do it, it still brings a smile to my face every time.

Do a search and you will probably fing a better explanation than mine. I only speak from my experience.

The biggest stock sway bars are hollow 36 mm front and solid 24 mm rear. These are found on some Camaros, 89-92, and some Firebirds, 86-92. They may still be available from GM. The 36 mm is 14094344 and the 24 is 10035033. Recommended.
