I got mine back on the last day of Feb. (just looked at the receipt) The Part # is 14079634, the description on my invoice says "Brace ASM" Total price = $45.77.(has been known to vary from dealer to dealer). And YES it was worth putting on, definetly a noticeable difference

Later,
Mike

Thanks, I was fixing to order it from my local dealer. We used to have a ACDelco/GM Parts wholesaler here in my town that would sell to the general public but they stopped last year. It was nice getting genuine GM parts for the same or cheaper than a non-name part from the local Discount Part stores.

It makes your headlights look bigger. LOL Just kidding. It is also known as a steering brace. It attaches at the front sway bar bushing bracket mount locations. The purpose of it is to help tie the front frame rails together under cornering forces. Which gives a more precise steering feel, since the geometry is maintained better. A little like a Strut Tower Brace (STB) does for the top. It only came on Irocs.
