Front tires wearing down too fast, Why?

Why are my front tires wearing down so fast? I just bought a new set of tires 2 months ago and their already 50% worn. Whats going on?

Are they wearing only on the edges or all across evenly? Do they have a high-low high-low choppy apperance on the inside and outside edges? Need a good overall description or some pics to give you a clue. Badman

What is the treadwear rating of the tire? (read the sidewall) How do you use this car? (daily driver, racing, burnouts) Are all the bushings known to be in good condition? (balljoints, a-arm bushings, etc) How about alignment? (when was the last alignment done and what are the specs)

Ive got the Yokohama YK520s on my car and their treadwear rating is 520. This car is my daily driver, i do not do burn outs in it. I have owned this car for 10 months now and havnt replaced any bushings, or gotten it aligned. When i first bought the car, the front tires did wear down faster than the rear ones but not as quickly as they are now.

you need an alignment and probably some parts. get under there and try shaking all the steering linkage by hand. it should not move. are the control arm bushings dry rotted and cracked? grasp the tire and try to move it side to side, then top to bottom. let us know how it goes
