Possible to replace front control arm bushings without taking the control arm off?
I have some "new" polyurethane bushings for all the control arms and I was going to replace the front bushings when I replaced the springs but I couldn't figure out how to get the bushings out. I got my service manual a week ago and I looked in that and it says something about having to flatten something down before the bushing can be removed. Can anyone elaborate on this and tell me if I can replace the bushings by just taking out the pivot bolts again or if I have to take the control arm completely out from under the car?

take the arm off the car and have them pressed in and out at a shop is the easiest and quickest way. Cost me $50 and took 15 minutes of their time. Or you can waste a few hours at home drilling the stock ones out and beating the new ones in.
