with my 385 coming out of the garage i know i will be needed tire upgrade. I am lookin at a pair of weld racing dralite wheels for my 89 firebird...

15x10 in 5 x 4.5/4.75 in bolt circle 4.5 backspace offsett is -25mm would these work for my car? also what would be a good set of mickey drag radial streets for them?

If you are doing a 10'' rim go with a 51/2 inch backspacing and use a 275-60-15 m/t drag radial. will look great.

 

are you running the same setup? do you have a pic of this?

 

you will be sticking out an inch if you use 4.5" backspacing.. use 5.5" backspacing and you are good.. and you want the 5x4.75 bolt circle.. and like said, a 275/60-15 will be good for a tire..

 

thanksconsidering you also have a stroker and know what type of tire i need so 15 x 10 5.5 in backspace 4.75 bolt circle with a 275/60-15 will be good... awesome ill look it up..

 

I have 5 7/8 backspacing with holeshot wheels with 295-65-15 m/t drag radials. Thay take some work to fit under the car.

 

im actually trying to fit a 295 65.
any tips, or pics of the install.
im worried about rubbing the outer lip of the fender if any.
i can take care of the inside with my blue tip wrench.

 

only mickey street radials i can find says max recommended rim width is 9.5"....am i missing something or would 15x10 still be ok??

 

Stage 20 I rolled the upper lip and on the inside of the wheel well I started with the tourch and a hammer then my buddy grabed the air hammer it worked best and no fears of burrning the car or my house down lol. The air hammer you just keep going and try not to thin out the sheet metal to bad. The lower contoll arms will have to be changed to tubular control arms.

what size tire, 275 60?
it may not be 100% recommended by the manufacturer, but a lot of folks run 275/60 on a 10" with good results.
