That´s what I tought also. So yesterday I got those parts but they don´t seem to fit at all, don´t even look like the old ones. So I´m wondering if someone who have a parts and illustration cd can give me some help.

Re: GM part# help

If you've got an original steering column, pm me your vin# and I'll do an extensive search for the part #'s you need.

Re: GM part# help

My vin# is 1G2FW2180KL225856

The parts i´ve got at home now are 7805700, 7832311 and 7805822.
These parts will clearly not fit.
The old part does not have a bearing at all, there´s only the plastic part and two rubber rings at each side.

Re: GM part# help

I don't mean to sound dumb but are you talking about the bearing that is just below the turn signal mechanism and looks like a black rind with bearing in it? I have recently fixed the loose tilt problem many people have and noticed the bearing was in horrible shape. The bearings were falling out and now I am stuck with no car. Is the bearing that I am talking about that same one that you are asking about in this thread? Thanks
