Re: summit lowering springs?

I don't think anyone here has used them yet. The question has been asked before with no reply. Get them and let us know.

Re: summit lowering springs?

I was just searching for any info on these exact springs which I am in the exact same position as you were. I'd like to know if they are worth getting?

So did you get them and how are they?

I was about to get them, so i called them to find out the spring rate. They said that no company discloses their rates . So i didnt get them.

Seems like mystery springs? I wonder who makes em for summit?
The price is sure right though...

Re: summit lowering springs?

I think I am going to get them the 2nd week of June, if they are junk Summit will be hearing from me.

I gotta swap engines and struts/shocks all around, so I figure its a smart idea to get new springs while I'm there, but with the engine swap and stuff I am short on cash, so I am really hoping the Summit springs are good cause I really cant afford the $240 and up spring kits.

Re: summit lowering springs?

I just installed a set about a week ago and got rid of my moog springs. Summit springs seems to be just fine and the ride height in my opinion is perfect not too low, but defiantly lower than stock ride height.

Re: summit lowering springs?

Sorry guys pics are gonna be difficult because I lost my main computer in a flood two weeks ago and my back up computer has no usb port to plug my digital camera into. My friend has Eibach proline springs and we sit just about the same to give you an idea and yeah they are a little stiff (not my daily driver) but i have fully boxed subframe connectors, lower control arms and tokico shocks/struts, so no comparison to a stock set up. If in doubt I would sugguest having other suspension upgrades as well. I have never liked just lowering springs on a stock setup, but add sub frame, lower control arms and good shocks and struts, there benefit really shines

Re: summit lowering springs?

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Intrax make these springs for Summit?
