PaPa Gots New Stuff......(pics)
Finally after months of saving cash and hiding money from the wife, I was able to get all the parts to do the suspension, brakes, and wheels and tires on the old camaro.

The wheels are TSW thurxtons. 18x9 rear and 18x8 front. It got late , so I wont be able to start on the front, but I have to thank Mr Ed Miller for all his help and advice and parts of course. I cant waint to drive and try the C5 brakes.

nice, i like the rims. just gotta wash that bad boy lol. i almost went with the tokio blues but i went wit the mixed KYB's. is that rear a 9bolt or a 10 bolt? did u replave the posi?
i did most of those upgrades like amonth ago, i went with the sportlines and KYB's, UMI sperical adjustable panhard rod, tubular control arms, UMI LCA relocation brackets, poly everything etc. the only thing i see that ur missing are LCA relocation brackets, and thats a must since ur lowering the car, ur gona get horrible wheel hop and ur cornerings gona go through the crapper. bc ur changing the geometry of the rear and the LCA that connects to the rear end has to sit lower than the front. u might get away wit it with the pro kit but u should do it when its all out.
ur gona love the new handling, i though mine handled bad *** before i did the springs, struts/shocks etc but now its a whole new animal.

Tell me about it , I got to clean this car so bad. It was sitting on the drive way for about a month, waiting for all the parts to arrive, also a tire blew up on my way to work and I was using the spare for a few days. I did not want to buy an other 16 inch tire since I had the new wheels and tires in my garage. So I drove my wifes car for a while. I do have the LCA brackets, just forgot to take a pic of them. Tomorrow Ill be working to the front C5 brakes, struts, springs, and steel braided lines. Ill take some pics.

it's a LOT harder to hide it when the Fed Ex freight guy drops off 2 pallets of boxes. Then I bust out the "blue tarp" and toss everything under it in the corner of the garage.

I must be really lucky - I don't have to hide my parts-buying from my wife. And she'll join me in our get-togethers with my MHTG buddies as well...
Those rims look sharp as hell, pretty much exactly what I'd like to get for my car - got a link for 'em??

Looks like you were on Santa's good list.Very nice parts but I have a couple questions for you.Are those JDI LCAs,if they are do they have a solid bearing on the chassis end?I have a set I bought from another board member but haven't installed them yet - have you had a chance to install them and put any miles on them? Also,if you don't mind, what supplier did you get them from.

I finally finished with all the suspension upgrades and brakes. Ill post some pictures later on. Now the problems is that my Top decided to give up on me, so now I have to cough $450 for a new top (glass window).

Not trying to hijack this thead but what year did they change the position of the caliper on the rotor? My car (a 91) is almost 180 degrees from the pic in the beginning of the thread.
