How to Measure Offset?
I'm selling my 17X8 TTII's. I've had tons ot questions "what will these fit" and "what's the offset". When I ordered these, I wasn't told what offset these were. Is there a way to measure the offest of these wheels?? I guy from another part of my state wants to put them on his 69 Camaro....and I'm not sure if the offset is correct for his car. Any information is appreciated. Thank You

Re: How to Measure Offset?
There may be an easier way, but I dont know of one unless its printed right on the rim. It might be.
Measure from the rear lip (farthest point out) to the mounting surface. You'll need a straightedge of some sort likely a little over 18" long at least. Thats the backspacing, a more important number to know IMO. Then measure the front lip to the mounting surface. Add that to the other number, divide by 2. Thats the distance from the lip to the center of the rim. Subtract the backspacing from that, thats the offset. Dont ask me positive and negative, I always get those mixed up. I'll leave it to someone in the know to give you the right info there.
