What Subframe Connectors should I get?

I've decided that he first major mod I'm going to do to my car is strengthen the chassis up with some Subframe Connectors. Is one set better than another, or are they all basically the same? Right now I'm looking at the Spohn set and the UMI Performance set, but I'm up for other suggestions.

I'm a big Spohn fan. Running his tubular LCA's, LCA brackets, SFC's, and wonderbar. all top notch quality, and good prices.

When I purchased mine, Global West was one (if not only) manufacturer of SFC's. Very nice.

I know there are a lot of options here, but I think I'm going with the competition engineering ones from summit (cheap like $90). I have a tech who builds race cars and he said all I really need to do is get some square tubing and he'll weld them in, said it'll be as strong as any other design they sell. Just my $.02.

Re: What Subframe Connectors should I get?

kinda depends on the look you want, UMI SFC are great and very strong, but they will show from the side on a lot of car, the spohn SFC are tubular, and install similarly to the UMI pieces, but they tuck a bit better, Alstons are another choice, they fit inboard more and i have and like them, or go the spohn/alston combo route and have tubing everywhere, that probably what im going to end up with
